King's Business - 1919-01

THE K I N G ’ S B U S I N E S S we say. This wicked king though t he could do ju s t as he liked, b u t he forgot th a t God was strong er th a n he was. God told Moses He would send him to th e king and te ll him th a t He was going to tak e H is people to th e ir own land, and ask th e king to le t them go, and th a t he (Moses) was also to go to the Jews and tell them w h at God was going to do. When Moses began to th ink of th e wicked king and th e big ta sk God was giving to him , he was afraid he could no t be th e leader, and he told God he could no t do it. Of course God knew Moses could do it, because God never asks us to do anything th a t we cannot do. Now our memory verse tells us w hat God said to Moses. Let us

51 say it over a number of times. Now of course Moses could do th is big ta sk if God was going to be w ith him to help him, and God is always w ith us when we do w h at He asks us to do. When Moses told th e people w hat God was going to do for them , they bowed th e ir heads and gave th ank s to God. Now be sure and come next Sunday and look up Helen and Charles and bring them too, for our sto ry next Sunday is very fine, and it is im po rtan t for every one of us to h ear it, and we will find ou t w hat a wonderful leader Moses was, for he followed God. Closing P ray er.—Dear Lord Jesus help us to be leaders, to lead o ther boys and girls to know thee.
