There is ju st ONE gate, one road, one way. Then th ere is no difference in the tim e required. A man may have sin ned five years or forty years. It takes ju st as long to save a little sinner as it does a big sinner. There is no difference in th e kind of salvation all get when they are saved. W hat does one need who is a sinner? He w ants to be guarded from the past and made sure for the future. We need to be saved from beginning to end. There was a girl in Moody church who' was a g reat tria l to us. When the work ers talk ed with, her, she ju st glared at them . They brought h er to me and a fte r talk ing w ith her a "little I took her to Miss Dryer. She got h er confi dence and then she found out th a t back in Sweden, th e girl had tak en a life
83 and she was bothered abou t th e ques tion of w hether or no t she could be for given. When it dawned upon her th a t she could be saved as easily as anyone else, she was gloriously saved. A t a camp meeting a young fellow w ent to the a lta r when th e invitation was given out. Someone said to him, “You have sta rted th is way several times and you have always gone back.” He ran out of the tent, and soon came back w ith an axe and a large stake. Everyone looked to see w hat h e was going to do. He went to the place whpre he had kn elt on the ground in ifront, and th ere he drove the stake.
