Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring Jeff Paley designed the Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring workshop to help owners get the most out of your Technician Recruiting Pipeline, identify and hire the best candidates. Jeff ’s discussion centered around the available recruiting and retention programs currently available to help feed your pipeline and the importance of doing all you can to ensure a good hire. On-boarding and Retention The importance of on-boarding and retaining technicians was the feature of Jeff Paley’s second workshop. Some of the Mr. Handyman practices were presented and discussed by attendees. Keeping employees engaged and excited about Mr. Handyman and its growth is essential to your business. Marketing 360: Full Circle Marketing to Increase Lead Flow The goal of marketing is to use a variety of branding strategies to impact and drive customers to use your service. The Marketing 360 workshop focused on maximizing the buying cycle between discovery, purchase and repeat. Attendees learned more about all available marketing options and the importance of having a good marketing plan as your guide!

T he Four Rs to Growing Your Commercial Revenue Anthony Garbacik discussed the four Rs that will assist Mr. Handyman® owners in growing commercial revenue. e four Rs were developed by interviewing many Mr. Handyman owners throughout the system who generate significant commercial revenue. In working with some owners one on one over the last few years, Garbacik said these four Rs have been increasing their commercial revenues. You can learn how to implement these best practices into your business for increased revenues and profitability, as well. Local SEO, The light’s always on, make yours brighter! Sarah Brunette led this workshop focusing on the importance of local SEO efforts and action items for each attendee’s business. Topics covered included review of top local SEO drivers, local website improvements, reading and understanding your Scorpion reports and best practices for posting job gallery photos. Kim Owczarzak shared her team’s process for taking and submitting photos. Attendees were asked to bring smartphones and tablets to take part in hands-on training to take and post outstanding photos of their work using Instagram!
