I used it on my camper when I found the window washer container was cracked and leaking. I took it off, cleaned it, spread the sealer over the crack, and let it dry. You could also use this on a non-pressurized water tank crack. If you can reach the crack, even if you can’t clean it very well, smear the sealant on and it will hold very well.
