PALM BEACH COUNTY FLORIDA’S PLAYGROUND FOR THE WEALTHY
Palm Beach County’s high-end single-family sales jumped 21.1% year-over-year to 2,028, with the average sales price gaining 5.1% to $2.84 million during that span. The county’s luxury condominium market had a 5.9% year-over-year drop in transactions to 683, as its average sales price declined by 9.8% to $2.34 million. The county’s biggest year-over-year luxury single-family transaction gainers included Manalapan (433.3%), Juno Beach (157.1%) and West Palm Beach (16.4%). The Boca Raton/Delray Beach submarket continues to be the focal point of high-end condo activity in the county, and it recorded a 43.4% year-over- year decline in total sales (224) and a 7.2% year-over-year drop in average sales price ($2.41 million).
