The Role of Technical Asset Manager The Technical Asset Manager will lead asset management delivery at University campuses across UPP’s portfolio of partners focused in London and the Southeast, specifically planning and delivering life cycle and asset replacement programmes, delivering refurbishment, modernisation and sustainability projects as well supporting defect management. You will lead on intelligent asset management planning, including condition analysis and data gathering on the estate, analysing trends, and working on options appraisal to inform long and short term investment strategies. We are seeking an individual with experience of asset management/ building surveying activities including whole life costing, condition analysis and asset replacement planning and delivery, together with the technical and commercial understanding of the procurement and management of strategic maintenance and refurbishment projects and programmes. Experience of working on a portfolio with comparable characteristics to the one found at UPP would be particularly advantageous, as would a technical background and professional qualification in the construction industry. The role requires excellent communication skills both externally with clients and internally, with the ability to lead teams, manage multi-disciplinary consultants and work with stakeholders across the business.
