National Payroll Week
The CIPP’s staff event As is the tradition, the CIPP holds a fun internal event for its staff while keeping to the payroll theme. This year, everyone was split into teams and given twenty minutes to escape a room by solving a variety of payroll questions. They only had the tools around them to escape with, such as the CIPP Factcard , a wallplanner, the Compact Payroll Reference Book etc, but this also gave them a perspective of how hard payroll calculations can be. They also competed against each other on the golf chipping board. The day was held at the Solihull office on Friday 7 September where our very own payroll team were presented with flowers and gifts in the morning to thank them for their hard work and dedication. The day ended on a high note as all the winners from the day’s challenges were presented with awards. The winning team of the escape included Sarah Jones, Lynn Peel, Hayley Dugmore, Laura Heise-Jones.
