National Payroll Week
Strictly Education Payroll I’m very proud of Strictly Education’s payroll team’s engagement with the CIPP’s National Payroll Week. Even though everyone in payroll is busy on a daily basis, they all understood the value of using the event as a channel to inform both our clients and colleagues within the business of the importance of payroll. Another team at Strictly Education decided to sponsor challenges each day of the week, which has brought closer collaboration and demonstrated to our payroll team that they, and the work they do, is much appreciated. I’m sure we’ll be looking forward to stepping up for something special to beat the drum of NPW in 2019. Not only has this been a great excuse to celebrate the successes of our incredibly hard-working payroll department but has allowed us the opportunity to interact with the wider payroll community. Taking part in NPW18 provided us all with some much-needed levity and bonding exercises, as well as the opportunity to raise money for a local charity. The whole office at Datagraphic joined in with the celebrations for National Payroll Week. From wearing ‘Datagraphic loves payroll’ t-shirts, to enjoying the big buffet and delicious NPW cupcakes, everyone helped celebrate the hard work and positive impact payroll has within a business.
