anchor experience without the feel of a crowded or overly staged attraction. For retailers, that distinction matters. Many divers want shark encounters, but increasingly they also care about how those encounters are conducted. Cape Eleuthera offers the opportunity to see sharks in a natural setting, where the ex- perience feels unforced. During our trip, shark sightings occurred on four of six dives, and the group was also treated to a rare loggerhead turtle encounter. The resort offers variety for different diver interests. Deeper dives may include Hole in the Wall or Cut and Run, both connected to the dramatic Exuma Sound Wall. Shallower dives include Cathedral and Tunnel Rock, where limestone formations create visually engaging profiles suitable for a broader range of certified divers. Afternoon or night dives may be available upon request with a minimum of four guests, and the resort also offers an onsite training area for certifications. This flexibility helps retailers match the trip to the customer. More experienced divers can focus on walls, sharks, and deeper profiles, while newer divers, couples, families, and mixed groups can enjoy shallower sites, training options, snorkeling, and topside activities. The resort’s infrastructure also supports group sales. Cape Eleuthera Resort is a boutique island getaway and marina with 31 luxury suites. Beachfront Cottages on Sunset Beach are well suited for couples, while two bedroom Sunset Beach Suites work for smaller groups or families. Two story Marina Villas include full kitchens, living areas, and private balconies, with space for up to six guests. Multiple lodging styles give dive leaders the ability to offer different price points and ac- commodation tiers within the same trip. The resort has also added a custom built 36 foot power cat designed for diving excursions, with room for up to 18 pas- sengers, a dry cabin, onboard head, and freshwater shower. For dive retailers and travel sellers, Cape Eleuthera Resort is best positioned as a land-based Bahamas option with broad appeal. It offers shark encounters, wall diving, varied sites, quality accommodations, non-diver activities, and relatively simple access from Florida and Nassau. In a market where many customers already know the Bahamas, Cape Eleuthera gives retailers a fresh way to sell it:
