He also spent 10 years as chairman of the board of directors for Truckers Against Trafficking. Former FTA CEO Alix Miller stepped down at the end of 2025 and is now senior principal at TSG Advisors. Schneider's Smith drives special Cascadia Schneider named company driver and U.S. Air Force veteran Greg Smith as this year’s Ride of Pride driver for a Freight liner Cascadia honoring those affected by Sept. 11, 2001. Ride of Pride is an annual initiative start ed by Daimler Truck North America to rec ognize military service and sacrifice. Schneider said it has received 15 Ride of Pride trucks from Freightliner since the program began in 2001, more than any other carrier. Smith received the truck in May and represented Schneider at an event in Washington. He served more than 21 years in the Air Force before joining Schneider in 2017, where he hauls on a dedicated account and works as a driver instructor.
