Dora Phelps Scholarship EVELYN DITZLER Evelyn is a family and consumer sciences major who will begin her student teaching experience next fall. She is a student manager of the CPS Café and is the vice president of the Stevens Point Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. Evelyn hopes to become an FCS teacher for a high school near the community she grew up in. About the Scholarship This scholarship was established to honor Dora Phelps’ contributions to the School of Home Economics. As a program assistant, she gave service beyond the call of duty to both students and faculty. Her capacity for work, efficiency, accuracy, patience, and good nature as well as her interest in the students and the knowledge of the School of Home Economics. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate strong character, scholarship, and concern for others.
