• Manage the Directorate’s Health and Safety Co-ordinator; oversee the management, upkeep and annual review of the auditing of all compliance for all buildings, processes and procedures across the Estate. • Manage the Directorate’s Energy Manager; oversee the Management upkeep and annual review of the strategic development of Energy Management for the University and the Carbon Management Plan. • Manage the Directorate’s Environmental Manager; oversee the Management upkeep and annual review of the Universities Environmen- tal Policy including travel and transport, recycling, procurement and carbon reduction. To oversee initiatives generated from the Keele Hub for sustainability projects. • Manage the Directorate’s Space Manager; oversee the management upkeep and annual review of the Universities Space Audit and ensure the University optimises the use of all space. • To provide Space Management information reports to sector bodies and professional services. • Manage the Directorate’s CAFM/CAD/BIM Technician; oversee the management upkeep and implementation of a new Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) asset database and Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems. • Liaise with the Head of Occupational Health & Safety with regards to fire risk assessments and any action plans that arise. • Lead on the Review & investigation of Accidents & Near Misses and provide appropriate action plans. • Lead the development, review and updating of Equality Impact Assessments (EIA) for all related projects and policies. • A strong commitment to the principles and practice of equality and diversity • Thorough understanding and application of the Dignity and Respect Framework • Take reasonable care of the Health and Safety of yourself and that of any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work. • Co-operate with Keele University in ensuring as far as is necessary, that Statutory Requirements, Codes of Practice, University Policies and School/Departmental health and safety arrangements are complied with.
