DRI TECH SPOTLIGHT After Work Is Done, Glendy Keeps Customers Satisfied
Entropy is a fact of the universe. As Yeats once put it, things fall apart. No matter how good of a job we do putting on a roof, in time you’ll need a new one — hopefully much longer than usual, of course. Glendy, our customer service specialist, will tell you the same thing: “If something needs a patch or a leak repair, I get the phone call.” Since our roofs don’t leak that often, we keep her busy with a few other things as well. Glendy also handles the stuff that stops roofs from needing repairs or replacements, like scheduling service calls and making sure clients are satisfied with the work we’ve done. If we had trouble sourcing material on a job, and will have to come back to finish up a day or two of work, she keeps us on schedule and generally keeps track of our promises so that we can fulfill every one we make.
“Right now, it’s a lot of work,” Glendy says, referencing the perfect storm of material shortages that is carrying over from the pandemic as well as one of Dri Tech’s busiest years ever. To stay fresh for all that work, Glendy makes sure her time off is truly time away from the job. “My husband and I moved here five years ago and we love to travel — Napa Valley was a big favorite, because we love wine and wineries,” she tells us. “When we do travel, we like to hike and stay active, have an adventure and not just a trip.” Grounded by the pandemic, Glendy is itching for her next escape!
