Isn’t it funny how entire new industries can spring up seemingly overnight? And yet, when we look at video game makers, they’ve been around for 40 years and counting, and industry giant Konami is one of the oldest and most established. It’s only appropriate that the company’s headquarters project was suitably impressive, taking part in two phases over a period of years, with Dri Tech involved every step of the way! For phase one — an entirely new building on Konami’s campus — Firestone provided all the TPO roofing and aluminum composite material panels, and Dri Tech installed them to spec. Phase two was even more involved, at least on our end. We used TPO from Firestone again, but we fabricated the ACM panels! We did that because otherwise, there was simply no way the project could get done on time. We were down to the wire on scheduling after ACM became very hard to source. If you can’t buy it, you can make it yourself, especially if you have our workshop!

Our resourcefulness paid off. We made our deadline, and you could even argue that our part of the project will be seen by the most people. That’s because we applied coating to create the client’s logo on the roofing surface in Konami Red (a custom Tremco coating color) and it is visible from planes taking off at McCarran International Airport!
We had fun on this one, but we tested ourselves as well. It doesn’t get much better than that.

The Henderson Silver Knights have a storied history and one that’s welcome here in Nevada. This was their first season in Henderson, where they rocked the regular season and finished as a top seed, then showed their stuff in the postseason as well. Anybody who was a fan of their 18 years in San Antonio knows that this team means business — and it’s a welcome addition to our Round Table! After all, what could be better than two storied Knights teams dominating their respective fields? We’re excited to have the Silver Knights on our side and confident we can expect many more victories to come from the Round Table as a whole.
