Miraclon Expands PureFlexo Printing

Miraclon, home of Kodak Flexcel Solutions, has launched spot color support for PureFlexo Printing. Introduced in 2021 for process printing, PureFlexo Printing reportedly controls unwanted ink spread and allows for greater latitude on press. It reduces unscheduled press stops and ultimately improves businesses’ financial bottom line. Expanding Benefits Delivered as a new feature set for the Kodak Flex- cel NX Print Suite for Flexible Packaging, Miraclon stated that the new technology will enable flexible packaging printers to expand the benefits of Pure- Flexo Printing to higher volume anilox applications. “The rigorously tested and patented technology set now includes surface patterns with edge effects specifically designed to manage the ink flow char- acteristics of spot color inks,” said Dr. John Ander- son, Director of Advanced Printing Applications at Miraclon. Spot color support for PureFlexo Printing is in- cluded in a subscription to the Kodak Flexcel NX Print Suite for Flexible Packaging, an integrated platform. Registration Opens For Labelexpo Americas 2022 Tarsus Group, organizer of the Labelexpo Global Series, has announced that attendee registration is now open for Labelexpo Americas 2022. The show takes place between 13-15 September 13-15, 2022, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. A special early bird entry price of $60 is available up to August 28, 2022. Getting A Masterclass Labelexpo Americas this year features a full two- day conference program and two masterclasses or- ganized by the Label Academy on Digital Embel- lishment and Self-Adhesive Materials.
