Great Plains Packaging has launched a new web- site at www.greatplainspkg.com . The new web- site has been designed to offer improved navigation and functionality, while allowing customers to see the all Flexo Label Printing, Paper Tubes & Cores, and V-Tough Edge Guards offerings by Great Plains Packaging. FLAG Concludes 10th Annual Meeting FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC) just concluded its 10th annual meeting in Minneapolis, MN. More than 105 independent converter Mem- bers and Vendor Partners attended the networking and educational event. “Our theme for this historic meeting was ‘Think Forward’ — an appropriate message for Members who have been struggling with supply chain chal- lenges, HR-related issues and manpower shortages over the past two years,” said John McKay, Presi- dent and Founder. Held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting, FLAG distributed 11 awards during the FLAG 2021 Awards Banquet held at the US Bank Stadium, home to the Minnesota Vikings NFL team. 2021 FLAG Awards were: FLAG Vendor Partner of the Year Award - 2021: UPM Raflatac Brad Brown Strategic Partner Award: Judy Abel- man, Principal, LPC FLAG Gold Member Awards: The Gold Member award is presented to FLAG Members who have achieved Gold Member Rank- ing in their purchasing levels multiple times over the last four quarters and attended the Annual Members Meeting. Eight companies received the 2021 Gold Member Award: Amherst Label – Milford, New Hampshire Apogee Industries – West Chester, Pennsylvania ATL Corp. – Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin Creative Labels of Vermont – Winooski, Vermont Graphics Universal – Greencastle, Pennsylvania International Label & Printing – Elk Grove Village, Illinois Luminer Converting Group – Red Lion, Penn- sylvania Niagara Label – Akron, New York This year, FLAG visited Lofton Label & Packaging in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
