Impaired driving charges Within the last three weeks, Russell County OPP conducted 35 “R.I.D.E” (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) operations. As a result, two people were arrested. Benoit Lalonde, 29, of Wendover, and Sarah-Jane Franklin, 35, of Limoges were charged with impaired driving. Their vehicles were impoun- ded and their driver’s licenses were suspended for 90 days. Drug possession convictions Jean Cayer of Embrun pled guilty in provincial court, Nov. 29, to charges of possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. The charges resulted from two separate police investigations in October in Russell Township.
