Riley, 11, Mason County She has learned how to sew during the COVID-19 pandemic and has made and shipped filtered face masks all over the U.S. She believes everyone should have them for free and that God will pro- vide the donations to keep her project going. He is an incredible child with a big heart. Recently, he spent eight days at WVU Medicine Children’s for a ruptured appendix. That diagnosis led to two major surgeries and an extremely tough time for Wade and his family, since no visitors were allowed in the hospital because of COVID-19. Wade is usually an energetic kid who enjoys gaming and sports and is on the principal’s list and leadership team at his school.
