The Champlain Library is trying out a new fundraising technique with the Adopt- a-Book campaign, running from April 1 to May 31. The idea is that people are invited to pay for a book on the library’s list in order to help the library add to its collection. In doing so, the participant gets first dibs at bringing that book home to read it.
