Get to know Nadia!

4. Speaking of pets, I had many interesting pets in college, including many rats and a duck named Daphne. Surprisingly, they all got along! 5. I love Motown music, and I’m super excited to see The Isley Brothers and The Commodores at the OC Fair this summer for my birthday!

Nadia has been working at Focus Physical Therapy for almost six years, and she is fantastic! Everyone who’s ever been here has seen her wonderful smile and great positive attitude. She is determined and hardworking, and she likes to have fun. She started here as a PT aide, helping with the back office and assisting patients with their exercises. During that time she became certified in Applied Functional Science (CAFS), so that she could better assist our patients and clients. About two years ago, she transitioned to working at the front desk, where her infectious smile greets everyone who comes through the door. Recently, she became our office manager, making sure that we all stay on track. We and our patients are truly blessed to have her working with us. Here are some fun facts you may not know about Nadia. 1. I’ve been playing pool for many, many years, and I recently joined an APA Pool League. So on Tuesday nights, you can usually find me competing at dive bars in Dana Point or San Clemente. 2. I also enjoy painting in my free time, and even though I already have a closet full of supplies, I can’t walk out of Michael’s without something new! (It’s a problem.) Five intresting facts that you may not know about me ...

3. I recently adopted two cats, Leo and Piper. They were shy at first, but now we’re friends and can’t get enough of each other. :)

SUCCESS STORIES

“My experience at Focus has been nothing short of magnificent. I presented with a partial tear in my left rotator cuff of my shoulder, with significant disability to the point that I feared surgery would be necessary, because my shoulder was essentially frozen, and the pain gently impacted my daily activities. Julian worked very closely with me, and gradually, over a period of several months, I began to experience relief from the shoulder and an increase in my range of motion. Julian and all the staff were always very positive and encouraging during my therapy sessions. Julian persevered with a combination of various types of manipulation and stretches until I was able to realize significant improvement. I am extremely grateful to Julian and the rest of the Focus staff for all their efforts. It is a blessing to no longer have to deal with the pain from my shoulder — and to have my range of motion that I was without for so long. In conclusion, I want to thank Julian and the Focus staff for allowing me to return to my previous quality of life!”
