AICC Joins The Small Business Legislative Council AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, has joined The Small Business Legislative Council (SBLC). The SBLC is an independent, permanent coalition of trade and professional associations who share a com- mon concern for the future of small business.The pur- pose of SBLC is twofold: to consolidate the strength and maximize the influence of business on legislative and Federal policy issues of importance to the entire small business community; and secondly, to dissemi- nate information on the impact of public policy on small business. Extending Reach “Joining SBLC further extendsAICC’s reach to ensure that the voice of the independent packaging industry is being heard inWashington,D.C.,”AICC Government Affairs Sub-Committee Chairman Eric Elgin of Oklaho- ma Interpak stated. “SBLC’s advocacy with and access to the govern- ment’s administrative and legislative processes will provide important feedback for AICC members on im- portant issues that affect their businesses.,” said Mike D’Angelo,AICC Vice President.
