AIMCAL Fundamentals took place on Tuesday before the show floor opened and there were all-day training sessions targeted to newcomers to the converting in- dustry.Attendees can choose between two sessions — Coating & Drying and Slitting & Rewinding. The ICE USA Technical Conference sessions were held all three days of the show before the show floor opens. These 30-minute sessions were led by indus- try experts and equipment engineers and focused on new advances in technology and processes. Sessions included topics like Data Analytics for Roll-to-Roll Pro- cesses;WebTensions Control Fundamentals; and Static Electricity: Causes and Cures in Converting. On the show floor, the Future of Converting Theater offered topics on the disruptive innovations affecting the converting industry. Kicking off each day was a keynote presentation.
