Winning entries are displayed and the Awards are an- nounced at the TLMI Annual Meeting held every Octo- ber. In the coming weeks,TLMI will also publish the as- sociation’s inaugural Awards Portfolio Book.The Awards Book lists all converter and supplier member winners from last year including Eugene Singer Award winners, TLMI Annual Label Awards winners,World Label Awards winners, Converter of the Year, Supplier of the Year, and the association’s Environmental AwardsWinners. AIMCAL Fundamentals took place on Tuesday before the show floor opened and there were all-day training sessions targeted to newcomers to the converting in- dustry.Attendees can choose between two sessions — Coating & Drying and Slitting & Rewinding. The ICE USA Technical Conference sessions were held all three days of the show before the show floor opens. These 30-minute sessions were led by indus- try experts and equipment engineers and focused on new advances in technology and processes. Sessions included topics like Data Analytics for Roll-to-Roll Pro- cesses;WebTensions Control Fundamentals; and Static Electricity: Causes and Cures in Converting. On the show floor, the Future of Converting Theater offered topics on the disruptive innovations affecting the converting industry. Kicking off each day was a keynote presentation.
