INVITATION Depuis janvier dernier, le Village de Casselman a entrepris un processus de planification stratégique en développement économique communautaire et la stratégie va bon train. Un travail colossal a déjà été accompli par un groupe de travail représentatif de la communauté (communauté participante) et le temps est venu de proposer le travail effectué jusqu’à présent aux citoyens de notre municipalité, à nos partenaires et à nos bailleurs de fonds. Vous êtes donc cordialement invités à une séance d’information et de consultation, le 3 juin prochain, à 18h30, à la salle communautaire du Complexe JR Brisson, à Casselman. Nous souhaitons vraiment vous compter parmi nous le 3 juin prochain, car tout ce processus est très important pour l’avenir économique de notre municipalité. Le Club Richelieu de Casselman tenait la 6 e é dition de son souper annuel aux homards samedi dernier. Près de 500 personnes étaient au rendez-vous pour l’événement annuel qui se déroulait au gymnase de l’Académie de la Seigneurie. Outre le grand nombre de participants, le succès de l’événement est aussi attribuable à la générosité des nombreux commanditaires, dont la Caisse populaire Nouvel-Horizon qui a remis la somme de 2000$. On reconnaît, dans l’ordre habituel, François Lemieux du comité organisateur de l’événement, le directeur général de la Caisse, Paul Doré, ainsi que la présidente du Club Richelieu, Marie Cousineau.
