Grads take OT loss from Sens win-loss record so far, giving the club a clear 1.000 game points score for the division standings.

Holding half as many points at 0.500 are the Grads with a 2-2-1 game record now thanks to a 5-4 overtime loss to the Sens when Daniel Sarracco "red in the winning goal for Ottawa during the "rst couple mi- nutes of OT play during the Sept. 13 match in Navan. Scoring for the Grads against the Sens were Michael Larose with two, along with solo shoots into the Ottawa net fromShawn Cameron andMathieu Dubois. Minding the net during the game were Ian Andriano for Ottawa and %ierry Messervier for Cum- berland. %e Grads are still on the road for the third week of September with games in Cornwall on Sept. 17 and Kemptville the following day. %ey return to the Navan Memorial Arena on Sept. 20 for a Sunday afternoon match against Cornwall.

Nats skin Cougars A pre-season exhibition match saw Rockland take an early trophy win from Vankleek Hill in the National Capital junior C league.The Rockland Nationals clipped the claws on the Vankleek Hill Cougars 3-2 Sept. 13 at the Vankleek Hill Arena. The Nats have one game left in the National Capital Junior Hockey League (NCJHL) pre-season schedule, Sept. 20, 1 p.m., against Gatineau at the Robert Guertin Arena. The Nats are back in Gatineau Sept. 26 for the opening games of their regular season. They host their home-game opener the following Sunday afternoon against the Papineauville Vikings at the Clarence-Rockland Arena.
