Note: The partnerships described herein do not necessarily all involve the Town of Wake Forest and may include partnerships between other organizations apart from the Town. STRATEGY 1. Continue existing community celebrations and develop additional events (such as clean up days, food drives, Unity in the Community, etc.) to strengthen community pride and identity, and to draw people into the Community. Besides being a fun way to recreate, community events build connections between neighbors and also to residents outside the Northeast Community. The Town should work with local community organizations (such as NECC, churches, DuBois Alumni Association, etc.) to understand the needs and requirements for existing community celebrations and to help coordinate new ones.
