Unlocking Your Intuition and Your Higher Self BY CARMEN FROMENT In the present polarized world, we need more than ever to rely on our intuition to make the best possible decisions! In order to dive into the subject of intuition, we can begin by studying our psychic structure so we can discover the difference between instincts, premonitions, clairvoyance and intuition. From the laboratories of Cosmic Intelligence, we are composed of three faculties: the mind, heart and willpower. The mind, our intel - lect, produces thoughts; the heart produces feelings and emotions; and willpower holds the drive to create, invent, move about, and work, producing actions. As you can see, through these three factors, we are a trinity. Not always well balanced, it is our duty to develop each of these faculties and bring them into a balance so our lives are harmo- nious. The Mind (Intellect) The current level of evolution has given much importance to the de- velopment of the intellect through education, higher studies, and the need to compete to establish and secure one’s position in life. It was intended as such by Cosmic Intelligence that human beings explore matter through this descending current, and discover themselves through matter. But it does mean we have to stay entrenched in matter as we risk destroying ourselves with the very means we’ve invented. Now, new currents are coming from the cosmos through this age of Aquarius, which will lead humanity to an ascending current — the discovery of the superior nature, our divine self, intuition, soul and spirit. The strength of the intellect is to analyze, separate and study details, but it is not capable of synthesis. It is fixated on the objective side of things (everything external) and the five senses. It has trouble perceiv - ing the subjective world. Unfortunately, focusing solely on external conditions and the five senses means we became disconnected from our inner self, and have lost all notion of the Divine world, where our true riches lie. Thus, the intellect is a very limited faculty. It cannot know the truth, for truth is a synthesis that can be known only by the faculty we call intuition. The Heart Perhaps the only thing people cannot deny is the experience of suf- fering or joy. They may doubt what they see, what they hear or what they touch, but there is never any doubt about the feelings they expe- rience. Our inner sensations enable us to touch the heart of things, to taste them and live them. Only what we feel is actually close to us. That is why true clairvoyance is a matter of deep inner feeling, and not a vision of something outside ourselves. The Willpower Willpower is linked to our behavior; it is the end result of your thoughts and feelings. Regardless of what someone thinks or feels, it is their actions that speak volumes about them. For example, oftentimes alcoholics, once in recovering, understand the damage they have done to themselves and to others. With great sincerity, they can promise do better. If at temptation, their willpower fails them, they can relapse. This shows how, if their faculties are not aligned in the direction of success, the division can lead to failure. This division between our faculties and alignment is the reason why people do not get results in what they ask for. Most often, it is the
