What I did: I learned how to spread financials, construct a cash flow, and create loan presentations for annual reviews, renewals, modifications, and new money requests. To do this, I was responsible for effectively communicating with other analysts on my team and commercial lenders to ensure that we had the proper documentation for the underwriting process. What I liked: I enjoyed being able to analyze company financials from an array of industries and learn what a bank looks for when considering a commercial loan request. I also enjoyed being able to work with other senior analysts and commercial lenders which allowed me to see how a commercial loan originates along with the entire process until it gets approved or denied.
Future Dream Job: My dream job is a forensic accountant.
