What I did: I worked on projects delegated by the administrator for presentations and meetings. I answered phone calls from vendors we worked with regarding accounts receivable or payable depending on the situation. I worked on billing claims by reviewing the codes entered in by the coder for each office visit. I also entered credit card charges made by the company and card holders. I wrote out checks for bills and patient refunds. Lastly, I ran errands for the company, especially for work meetings when lunch was provided. What I liked: I liked the atmosphere of the company. It is a small company where everyone seems to be a work family. I also liked seeing the finance side of the company because that is what I am most interested in. I like having the flexibility to handle most of the finances for the company under the supervision of someone. Future Dream Job: My dream job is to be a controller of a company. I like the responsibility of handling the company’s finances and making sure the money within a company is accounted for.
