SEASON OUTLOOK The MRA Patriots baseball team is on a mission to put another State Championship banner up. The Patriots were 11-3 and one of the top ranked teams in Mississippi when their 2020 season ended due to the Cornavirus Pandemic. Expectations are high for the 2021 Patriot baseball team and Head Coach Allen Pavatte, as he enters his eleventh season at MRA. The Patriots will be returning 7 starters and 7 pitchers from last year’s team. The 2021 team will rely on several returning players such as seniors Niko Mazza (Southern Miss commit), Brayden Jones (Ole Miss commit), Bryce Chance (Hinds CC commit), Sam Thomas McInnis( Co-Lin CC commit), Hayes Puckett, Sam Polles, Austin Savell, Toby Trowbridge, Jay Regan, Will Tanner, Thomas Adams, Brayden Bailey and Zach Beasley. MRA will also be loaded with many talented underclassmen such as Stone Blanton (Mississippi State commit), Peyton Martin, Jackson Evers (Ole Miss commit), and Kaleb Lipscomb,. First pitch for the 2021 season is set for February 11 when the Patriots host Winston Academy.
