(4 credits) Option 2—302 English: Society and progress In this more visual and media-based course, classes will examine the use of language and literature to critique and subvert societal structures. While looking at texts as diverse as dystopian films, print newspapers and Donald Trump's Twitter feed, boys will be encouraged to think critically about the role that language and media play in shaping our world and manipulating our thinking.
