Experience • A proven record of running a maintenance function and leading a team to success. • Experience of increasing productivity and performance within a team. • Experience of successfully mobilising an internal maintenance function to an outsourced maintenance contract. • An ability to manage, monitor and evaluate external maintenance con- tractors.

• Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing, with the ability to articulate ideas and initiatives to a wide range of people, including the ability to communicate information to non-maintenance professionals. • Strong interpersonal and well-developed organisational skills. • To act as an excellent ambassador for the Maintenance department with a high level of professional credibility. • An ability to juggle multiple priorities. • A solid understanding of IT systems, including Microsoft Office. • An ability to work under pressure and to uphold strict internal and external deadlines. • An exceptional eye for detail coupled with the ability to not lose sight of the overall masterplan. • Able to combine effective strategic thinking with hands-on transactional capabilities. • To enjoy being hands-on when required. • An energetic team player with a high level of enthusiasm. Knowledge • Extensive experience in a similar role • Technically strong with a relevant professional qualification (minimum requirement of an HNC in Engineering)
