Education Degree qualified in relevant subject /relevant formal training, plus experience in a similar or related role(s) E Holds second degree in relevant subject /relevant formal training D Experience Knowledge and understanding of building service and design E Experience with large complex databases and means of presenting information E Track record of implementation of measures to reduce energy use D Proven organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise diverse workload E Manage technically complex projects D Ability to communicate clearly and effectively E Knowledge Detailed operational knowledge and expertise in the field of energy management and building services and design E Detailed knowledge and understanding of databases E Using Database software to manipulate and represent data in an informative manner E Ability to write a business case and secure funding for projects D Manage own time and set targets and objectives in line with the College strategy E High level of understanding of engineering and technical principles related to energy efficiency in buildings E Able to communicate to College community utilising a variety of ‘modern’ media tools and other routes D Skills & Abilities Highly competent with MS Office in particular Excel E Database management E Energy database management, Team Sigma and Yellowfin D Understating of BEMS in particular Trend D Able to work to tight deadlines, managing and prioritising own time effectively E Able to work effectively within a complex organisation E High level of oral and written communication skills E Self-motivated and able to motivate others E
