Campus Safety Committee Jurisdiction • The Campus Safety Committee considers and makes recommendations on policies regarding safety, security, emergency preparedness, response, and recovery. • Recommendations may include campus response, security protocol, emergency management, campus health, and infectious disease control. Membership • Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, co-chair • Three faculty from different divisions, including faculty co-chair • Executive Director of Human Resources • One Public Relations and Marketing representative • One Student Affairs representative • One campus police officer • One non-exempt staff • One exempt staff Reporting Relationship The Campus Safety Committee makes policy recommendations to the President. Meetings This committee will meet on the second Thursday of each month. Faculty Affairs Committee Jurisdiction • The Faculty Affairs Committee considers and makes recommendations on policies related to faculty load, promotion, and tenure. • Recommendations may include modifications to the student evaluation of faculty form and process, per review committee guidelines, and classroom observation form and process. Membership • Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Services, co-chair • Six faculty, from different divisions, including faculty co-chair • Three division directors Reporting Relationship The Faculty Affairs Committee makes policy recommendations to the President. Meetings This committee will meet on the fourth Thursday of each month.
