C ontinually striving to improve the customer experience and maintain the highest level of services is at the heart of everything MacBlair does, said Aaron Wall, the company’s recently appointed Group Sales Manager. And this ethos will continue to be the driving force in sales strategy for 2023 and beyond. With seven years’ service already completed at MacBlair in field sales, key accounts and branch management, and a total of 17 years’ experience gained within the builders’ merchant sector, Aaron is expertly qualified to steer the sales teams forward. “Going into 2023 we will be promoting our specialisms in civils, plumbing and heating, structural and roofing as well as extending our in-stock ranges such as construction accessories,” he said. “We are much more than ‘just’ a builders’ merchant. Watershed, Wood Floor Warehouse and Doorways are all part of

our group umbrella of ‘4 Brands 1 Family’. They all add strength and depth to our offering and put us in a good position going into the New Year.” Staff development is another key factor to continued success, said Aaron. “We are continually running both in-house and external training events for our workforce. Working with key suppliers, we train our staff on the most up-to-date products and solutions in the market along with our core offerings. This in turn aids our customers by providing them with advice and value engineering for our customer base. “We have also invested in our delivery Epod systems and online presence

which we hope will deliver stronger communication to our customers and support our continued growth.” The outlook for 2023 is still strong, although likely to be challenging, admitted Aaron. “However, our continued enhancements, driven and knowledgeable staff and MacBlair’s Customer First focus – which has stood us in good stead since 1973 – will no doubt continue to see us grow our brand.”
