Principle 1: Involve stakeholders
Principle 2: Understand what changes Principle 3: Value the things that matter Principle 4: Only include what is material
SVB has adopted two widely recognised UK social accounting methodologies — Social Return on Investment (SROI) and the Local Multiplier (LM) — to identify, measure and account for the social, economic and local value created through IN4 Group’s programmes.
INVOLVE STAKEHOLDERS
Principle 5: Do not overclaim Principle 6: Be transparent Principle 7: Verify the result Principle 8: Be responsive
The evaluation is also aligned with the Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM) framework, using the SVQM Wheel to identify and evidence value across one or more of its core thematic areas. The assessment has been undertaken in line with the principles, standards and evidence requirements of the SVQM Silver Quality Mark, ensuring a robust and transparent approach to impact measurement.
SROI and Local Multiplier methodologies were selected as the most appropriate frameworks to monetise programme outcomes and demonstrate the wider value generated for individuals, communities, employers and local economies. The SROI analysis follows the eight internationally recognised principles of Social Value, ensuring that value is based on stakeholder outcomes, material evidence, appropriate valuation, and transparent reporting.
