I am delighted to welcome you to our inaugural Lookbook Volume 1, a culmination of my journey since joining Coolibar® as Creative Director in April of 2023. It has been an exhilarating experience, and I am proud to share my executed vision with you. This Lookbook is not just a showcase of our latest UPF 50+ designs but is also a celebration of Coolibar®’s recent company move from Minneapolis to the vibrant city of Miami. COOLIBAR® IS DESIGNED TO BE LAYERED
We have created LEVEL OF COVERAGE guidelines to help you to choose the right level of coverage for your level of sensitivity to sun exposure and activity of choice. All of our products are thoughtfully designed to be layered onto each other to build your coverage up or down by combining products, for example, a tank top is Level 1 but if you put on a jacket, you are covered at Level 3.*
BASIC COVERAGE - LEVEL 1 These offer the least coverage, suitable for complementing other protective wear but should not be the sole protection. Items: Bikinis, tank tops, shorts, and short skirts . MODERATE COVERAGE - LEVEL 2 Items in this category offer a good level of protection by covering key areas but leave more skin exposed than the higher coverage categories. Items: Short-sleeved shirts, capris, skirts/shorts below the knee, visors, and one-piece swimsuits . HIGH COVERAGE - LEVEL 3 These garments provide significant body coverage but might leave some parts exposed. Items: Long-sleeved shirts, long sleeved swimsuits and swim tights, knee-length dresses, long pants, shawls, wide-brimmed hats that cover the neck and shoulders . FULL COVERAGE - LEVEL 4 Garments in this category cover the majority of the body, offering maximum sun protection in terms of coverage. Items: Gloves, gaiters and masks, sleeves, jackets or hoodies, umbrellas, and hats with flaps, as well as full-body swimsuits, and full-length dresses .

THE COOLIBAR® ADVANTAGE As the world leader in UPF 50+ fabric technology, we rigorously test our fabrics to assess UPF rating. This testing includes exposure to multiple factors, such as repeated launderings, sweat, sunlight, chlorine, and salt. To introduce any new fabric, we first measure its UV rating when unwashed, followed by washing the fabric 40 times before subjecting it to 100 hours of sunlight exposure . After this meticulous testing process, we conduct a final assessment to ensure that the UPF 50+ rating of 98% or higher is maintained . Furthermore, we test every single lot of fabric before using it in the garment production process, and we maintain records of these test results for at least two years to substantiate our claims. UPF 50+ GUARANTEE Coolibar® apparel and accessories are guaranteed to block 98% of UVA/UVB rays—wet or dry— with sun protection that never washes out for the lifetime of the garment.
