We should also be witness ing more since we have a vivid illustration o f the biblical defini tion o f sin. It is a fact that man must realize he is lost before he can be saved. Unbelievers are in different to sin or believe that sin is an illusion. Now by vivid illus tration we can show the unsaved that as there is rebellion against authority, God considers rebellion against His authority to be sin. For this, God must eternally pun ish us unless we accept His Sub stitute for our sin. Using this illustration and divine provision for sin, we should be able to wit ness more effectively. 3. Also in the light o f this coming lawless age, we should have a greater motivation to do God’s will. If the main signifi cance o f this lawless age is dur ing the tribulation period, which the Bible indicates, and if the sec ond coming of Christ follows the beginning of the tribulation pe riod by just seven years, then certainly the presence o f such events today indicate that the sec ond coming o f Christ is very close and the rapture o f the church even more so. This should give each one o f us renewed motiva tion to be doing day-by-day God’s will. 4. We' should also know that the only real solution to the law lessness of today is the provision made in Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord. The only solution to the problem of lawlessness today is the instruction of the Word of God and our obedience to it. The heart of man must be changed be fore his action can be. Our thoughts must be submitted to His thoughts, our ways to His way, our wills to His will. Any other solution will be at best only temporary. Christ Himself is the one who “gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity (literally, lawlessness)” (Titus 2:14). HU
