LEGACY BUILDERS EDITION | VOLUME II

Robert remains convinced that there is more to learn.

Despite decades of experience, industry recognition and the ability to execute work with a confidence that comes only through mastery, he resists the idea that he has seen everything. “I’m still in awe every year to learn more,” he says. “If at any moment I felt complete, or that I knew it all, I don’t know what the purpose of life would be. You have to have a dream, a direction and a challenge.” Each home carries forward the standards developed across his career, but each one is also an opportunity to question, refine and improve. For Robert, that responsibility has For Robert, that responsibility has never stopped at the edge of a job site. His involvement with Rotary International and its principle of “Service Above Self” reflects the same conviction that has shaped his career: that leadership carries an obligation to leave people, professions and communities stronger than you found them.

He remains driven not by the need to prove what Lord General Contractors can do, but by

the responsibility to protect what the company’s work has come to mean.

“Passion has always driven me to raise the bar, to educate, to guide and to serve,” Robert says. “To build for generations, not just for today. It’s not about recognition. It’s about understanding what’s possible and continuing to push beyond it. There is always a better way.”

One day, the homes will remain without him.
