For all his accomplishments, Richard's attention is increasingly focused on the future.
Specifically, the seventh generation.
His daughter Alishia has already earned her general contractor's license. His son Alex is gaining field experience and learning the business from the ground up.
The succession plan is already underway.
But for Richard, leadership transition is about far more than titles.
It is about passing on values.
