Children’s Musical Theater San Jose offers Camp CMT , an engaging and inspiring journey dur- ing which kids are encouraged to be creative, build life skills, and have fun. Camp CMT is tailored to foster a love for musical theater while coaching kids in the performing arts. Campers especially enjoy learning in an environment where they can spend time with their peers and make friends who share their enthusiasm, and such is one of the many benefits of theater programs for youth: they become better accustomed to func- tioning within a team, a crucial life skill. A typical day at camp features a rotation through core classes in singing, acting, and dancing, as well as workshops in areas such as sketch comedy and stage crafts. Each class is staffed with instructors, counselors and assistants, so that each child receives a personal experience; the
