Open the timesheet you want to add project time to. Under ‘Add time from Projects’, click in the box to select an employee and click on ‘Add to timesheet’.

If your My Payroll login is different to the one in Projects, you will need to ask your Payroll Admin to add the project time into your timesheet.

Xero adds the totals for each day of the week from the project’s time entries into the timesheet, for the period matching the current timesheet. If a line item already exists, Xero adds a new one for the project time.

Select the Earnings Rate for the hours you worked. Continue adding time from projects as many times as you like. You can only add project time for the period matching the current time sheet.

Submit the timesheet for approval or approve it if you’re authorised.
