You can’t add time entries after approving a timesheet for the period. Xero doesn’t lock the time entries in Projects after adding them into a timesheet.
You can only edit a time entry if the customer has not been invoiced for it.
The rate per employee is set within the Projects tab, select Staff Cost Rates to set the rate per employee.
The rate can be amended by selecting ‘Edit’.
If you make changes to your payroll timesheet, the project time entries are not affected and vice versa.
In the projects menu, select time entries.
