4. Pay expenses – you can pay all approved expenses separately or in bulk. Xero will then create a bill where you can enter the payment details. If you chose to pay multiple expenses at a time, bills will be moved to Awaiting Payments tab in Purchases overview.
If there are multiple items that need to be coded to separate accounts, you can add more item lines on your New expense.
Note that this function is currently only available on online version, not on the mobile app.
To create more item lines, click on “Itemise”.
1. Enter the description, account and amount of the first item and click “Add another item” to add a new line. 2. This will take you back to the original form.
Once it has been completed, you can approve, submit or save the expense claim as draft.
