It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Dad at the age of 92, at the CISSS des Laurentides in Lachute, on August 14, 2021. Predeceased by his parents, A.G. Parker and Blanche Sendell and his loving wife Peggy Long. He leaves behind his daughters: June (Michel), Barbara, Gail (Ed) and Debbie (Dino), and his two grandchildren, Bailey and Francis. Dad spent his early career as a professional photographer with C.I.L. and then Alcan, where he enjoyed the adventures of traveling to many known and remote parts of Canada. After leaving Alcan, he started his own photography company which he ran with the help of Peggy, for many years. Dad had a good and long life. He had many interests including sailing in his younger years and helping with the reconstruction of the Norseman aircraft that his father helped design. He was an active and well-loved member of his community. He had a twinkle in his eye; sometimes filled with mischief, and a spirit that drew people in to hear one of his good stories. He was happy when called upon to help his friends and neighbors. His happiest times were spent at Lac Manitou, in the Laurentians, both when his girls were young and after retiring there. He spent long hours tinkering on the family boats, helping the community and reminiscing with friends. We miss you Dad. We would like to thank all the staff at the Médaillon d’Or in Lachute and the Lachute Hospital for the excellent care that Dad received over the past year. With deepest sorrow and heartbreak we announce that Adam Brendan Stansfield, age 17, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend, passed away on August 14, 2021 at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, after a sudden illness. Those who knew Adam, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Adam will be greatly missed by his father Dean Stansfield, his mother Brenda Lees, his brother Evan Stansfield, his grandparents James and Doreen Lees, Evelyn Dion and the late Reginald Stansfield, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Adam had a passion for learning and took great pride in achieving academic excellence in his studies. He had aspirations of becoming an engineer and was looking forward to applying to universities this fall in his graduating year at Rockland District High School. Adam spent much of his leisure time enjoying the outdoors, especially boating and fishing. Adam loved spending time with family and friends and had a kind and caring spirit. Visitation will take place in the chapel, on Sunday, August 22, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a graveside ceremony at the Saint-Aidan’s Cemetery in Louisa at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, we suggest making a donation in memory of Adam, to the Louisa Cemetery or to the Rockland District High School. À Lachute, le 31 janvier 2021, est décédé à l’âge de 81 ans M. Ulric Laurin, époux depuis 60 ans de Mme Jocelyne Lépine, domicilié à Saint-André-d’Argenteuil. Outre son épouse Jocelyne, il laisse dans le deuil son fils Jean (Rosanne), leurs enfants : Ulrika (Yassine et leur fils Ismaël) et Jean-Christophe ainsi que sa fille Danielle (Gérald et ses enfants : Éric, Marc et Annie). Maintenant auprès de sa sœur Eveline, de ses frères : André, Armand et Adrien, il laisse également dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs : Marie-Paule (Louis-Georges), Jeannot (Georgette), Noëlla (Jean-Charles), Alice (Ronald) et Robert (Louisette), ses beaux-frères et belles sœurs de la famille Lépine : Claire, Roger (feu Francine) et Marjolaine (Serge) ainsi que ses neveux, nièces, autres parents et de nombreux amis. Les funérailles seront célébrées le samedi 28 août prochain, à 14 heures, en l’église Saint-André Apôtre , 1 Route des Seigneurs, Saint-André-d’Argenteuil, où la famille y recevra vos condoléances à compter de 13 heures. Déjà cinq ans que tu nous as quittés. Continue de veiller sur nous comme tu le faisais si bien. Repose en paix. Le malheur de t’avoir perdu ne dois jamais nous faire oublier le bonheur de t’avoir connu. Ton épouse Suzanne, tes enfants Manon, Denis, Yvan et tes petits-enfants.

Le 18 août 2011, date que nous, tes enfants, se souviendrons à jamais. C’est ce jour que tu nous as quittés pour aller rejoindre les autres personnes qui étaient chères à ton coeur. Nous sommes convaincus que tu es heureuse parmi eux et c’est ce qui nous console malgré l’énorme chagrin que ton départ a causé. Nous poursuivons ton vœu le plus cher; nous continuons de former une belle famille unie. Un jour nous serons tous réunis, mais en attendant, continue de veiller sur nous de là-haut. TESSIER, Robert 1928–2021
Au CHSLD de Saint-Adèle, le 5 août 2021, est décédé à l’âge de 93 ans M. Robert Tessier, époux de feu Thérèse Gagné. Il était de fils de feu Napoléon Tessier et de feu Valentine Bélanger. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Yves (Gina), Pierre (Nicole) et Suzanne (Normand), sa petite-fille Marie-Ève, son arrière-petite-fille Maéva, les enfants de Nicole : Jean-François et Nicolas. Il quitte également ses sœurs Réjeanne et Micheline, ses neveux et nièces ainsi qu’autres parents et amis.
