LAX FlyAway ® Program

ƒ LAX FlyAway ® —monthly LAX FlyAway ® passes offered to LAWA employees ƒ Guaranteed Ride Home —reimbursement program for LAX employees for up to two rides home per year through Metro’s Guaranteed Ride Home Program ƒ Bike to Work —assistance from commuteLAX in finding the most optimal bike route and secure bike storage In the fall, commuteLAX launched the Transit Pass Program , the first commute subsidy program for all LAX employees. If eligible, LAX employees can purchase monthly transit passes from commuteLAX at a discounted rate for work-related trips.

Going into 2023, LAWA plans to initiate carpool parking incentives with reduced monthly parking

The FlyAway ® Program served 1,461,838 riders in 2022, up 45% from 2021. ƒ The program provides nonstop transportation between Union Station, Van Nuys, and LAX. The program reduced personal vehicle travel by 1,113,445 trips and 23,842,944 vehicle miles traveled ƒ The FlyAway ® Program saved 2,636 MTCO 2 e ƒ Van Nuys offered 128 trips per day ƒ Union Station offered 80 trips per day

rates and preferred employee parking options, a two-year extension of current van leasing contracts

for hybrid vehicles, and to improve vanpool matching. The program will further track KPIs moving forward to include: ƒ Vehicle miles traveled savings ƒ GHG emissions reduced ƒ Mode shift ƒ Overall trips saved ƒ Ridership (vanpool/iRide) ƒ Gallons of gas saved ƒ Passenger feedback (iRide) ƒ Cost per trip (vanpool/iRide)

LAWA’s goal is to reach 500 monthly participants

of the Transit Pass Program in the first year, but estimates that the program could grow to 4,000 monthly participants.
