Ce système de pieux hélicoïdaux est certifié par le Centre canadien des matériaux de construction (CCMC no13059-R). Le pieu est essentiellement une grosse vis à laquelle est soudée une hélice simple ou double. Des rallonges sont soudées aux pieux lorsqu’il est nécessaire de visser en profondeur. De plus, une gaine exclusive en plastique protège contre le soulèvement du pieu causé par le gel. L’équipement hydraulique spécialement fabriqué par Techno Metal Post est utilisé pour visser les pieux dans le sol. Sa petite taille lui donne un accès facile pour des travaux avec un accès restreint. Les pieux vissés sont munis d’une tête ajustable et sont prêts à être utilisés immédiatement après l’installation. Ils sont appropriés pour les mauvaises ou faibles conditions de sol, telles que la glaise, la tourbière (peat-moss) ou lorsque la nappe phréatique est élevée. Étant donné qu’aucune excavation n’est nécessaire, ce système de fondation n’endommage pas l’aménagement paysager existant. De plus, toutes les installations sont couvertes par une garantie de 5 ans.
