SOCIAL SERVICES PAY SCHEDULE (SS)
OVERVIEW
The SS pay schedule includes a variety of classified social services roles, ranging from basic support for behavioral health clients to the administration of statewide programs for vulnerable populations. Jobs in this pay schedule perform duties involving case management, counseling, eligibility determinations, and the provision of services to eligible individuals.

The SS pay schedule structure consists of 25 pay grades. Each pay grade contains a minimum, midpoint, and maximum salary. The minimum of the lowest pay grade is $10.00 per hour or $20,800 annually. The maximum of the highest pay grade is $91.31 per hour or $189,925 annually. Range spreads, from minimum to maximum, are approximately 80% for all pay grades. Range minimums have a standard 7% progression from grade to grade that matches the percentage allowed for promotion under SCS Rule 6.7.
