OVERVIEW
The TS pay schedule includes a variety of technical and scientific roles ranging from basic technical support to executive leadership for statewide technical programs. Jobs in this pay schedule perform duties involving engineering, environmental science, technical inspections, managing natural resources, information technology, non-clinical laboratory analysis, etc.

The TS pay schedule structure consists of 26 pay grades. Each pay grade contains a minimum, midpoint, and maximum salary. The minimum of the lowest pay grade is $12.22 per hour or $25,418 annually. The maximum of the highest pay grade is $119.32 per hour or $248,394 annually. Range spreads, from minimum to maximum, are approximately 80% for all pay grades. Range minimums have a standard 7% progression from grade to grade that matches the percentage allowed for promotion under SCS Rule 6.7.
