L’équipe de santé familiale Plantagenet fournit des soins primaires aux patients de la communauté de Prescott-Russell. Notre équipe utilise un modèle de service innovant qui inclut le patient dans ses soins. Nous avons une équipe interdisciplinaire dynamique qui travaille en étroite collaboration pour fournir les meilleurs soins possibles. Nous recrutons actuellement deux assistant(e) médical(e) expérimenté(e) à temps plein. L’assistant (e) médical (e) fournit un soutien administratif et, surtout, clinique à nos fournisseurs de soins primaires, y compris nos médecins de famille. L’assistant médical est responsable du flux quotidien des soins aux patients dans la clinique. Le candidat idéal doit avoir : • Doit être bilingue • Posséder des compétences organisationnelles bien développées avec la capacité de travailler dans un environnement en évolution rapide • Une solide compréhension de la terminologie médicale • Une capacité à effectuer certaines procédures, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter, la prise de signes vitaux, l’administration d’injections, la seringue auriculaire, le retrait de sutures sous la direction d’un fournisseur de soins primaires ; •Une capacité démontrée à maintenir la confidentialité; •Capacité de faire preuve de discernement dans l’évaluation de situations potentiellement difficiles; •Maîtrise de l’informatique, une expérience antérieure avec un dossier médical électronique serait un atout; • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et sous la direction d’un médecin ; • Capacité à anticiper une variété de besoins des patients lors d’une visite à la clinique ; • Capacité à effectuer avec précision des tests au point de service sous la direction d’un médecin; • L’obtention d’un certificat d’assistant médical serait un atout; • Une expérience préalable en milieu médical, de préférence en soins primaires est requise. Plantagenet Family Health Team provides primary care to patients Prescott-Russell community. Our team uses an innovative service model that includes the patient in their care. We have a dynamic interdisciplinary team working closely together to provide the best care possible. We are currently recruiting two experienced full time Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant provides administrative and most importantly, clinical support to our primary care providers including our family physicians. The Medical Assistant is responsible for the daily • Bilingual •Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; • A solid understanding of medical terminology • An ability to perform some procedures including but not limited to, taking vital signs, giving injections, ear syringing, suture removal under the direction of a primary care provider; flow of patient care in the clinic. The ideal candidate must have: • A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality; •Ability to use good judgment in assessing potentially difficult situations; • Proficient computer skills, past experience with an Electronic Medical Record would be an asset; •Ability to work independently and under the direction of a medical practitioner; • Ability to anticipate a variety of patient’s’ needs during a clinic visit; • Ability to accurately perform Point of Care Testing under the direction of a medical practitioner; •Completion of a Medical Assistant Certificate would be an asset; •Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in primary care is required.
