Aquatics

THANK YOU MR. PETER KARL Following 40 years of service to Army Navy Country Club, and 25 years as the Assistant General Manager of Aquatics, Mr. Peter Karl has announced his retirement. Peter’s institutional knowledge for the Arlington and Fairfax aquatics facilities will be hard to replace. We wish him all the best as he begins the next chapter of his life and thank him for his years of service to Army Navy Country Club.

Bring your friends for another great Olympic Pool Night Movie. We will set up the deck with chairs and, of course, you are welcome to bring your raft to watch while floating in the shallow end. Price includes all refreshments. Chit bar available throughout the night. Reservations Required

Mariane Rowland truly enjoyed her first season teaching the Water Aerobics class at Fairfax - thank you to all participants! Suzie Thompson has had the best attendance ever, and as in the past, she will continue to run the Water Aerobics program at Arlington through Friday, 15 September. Water Aerobics

Weekdays 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Weekends 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

All swimming proficient Members will be allowed to use the Adult Pool. One side will be roped off to allow for lap swimming and adult use only, while the other side will be open to proficient swimmers. The Adult Pool is reserved for toilet trained swimmers. The Heated Training Pool and Wading Pool is open to all others. Note: The Dive Inn will only be open on weekends. Members are welcome to eat in the Grille or Stars & Stripes Cafe on weekdays.

Just keep swimming...

At Arlington, Melanie, Sarah, Trey, Summer, Chris, Shelby, Devon, Erin, Lindsey, Hugh, Kiley, Ethan, Jay, Katie and Peter all thank you for choosing to learn to swim. At Fairfax, Micky, MJ and Andy also enjoyed a fun filled summer teaching our young swimmers. All are encouraged to develop their swimming skills though out the school year, and we hope to see you next summer!
